June Again

A poem by P. G.

i.

June again

or so they tell me.

I can't keep track anymore

nor do I care to so

it's June again

sticky hot

lost lost lost shadows on the

crosswalk

I used to be so sure.

Not of anything in particular

just sure and certain and

b o u n d l e s s

ii.

I love the dark

and the dark loves me

the dark loves you

and its just we three

I'll drink the light

before I share it with you

May we both be full

May these memories make do

I'm not who I once

used to think I would be

I'm not where I'd hoped

I just want to be free

iii.

I am sad

unsure

formless

guide me

somewhere

home

wherever that is

is it still?

i wonder

yes,

i

wander
